Toilet of the Week - Poly John City Mains

Poly John City Mains

The Poly John City Mains portable toilet. Really spacious inside because there's no effluent tank; all the waste goes straight down the sewers. It's also got warm water - a really tidy unit.

Toilet of the week - Thal Mondo

The Thal Mondo portable toilet was designed by Wilfred Thal from Ratingen in Germany. A revolutionary design in it's day; it was the first portable toilet to be designed to look aesthetically pleasing rather than to be a purely functional blue square box. The shapes embossed in the sides and door of the unit are supposed to represent the sun, clouds and a rural valley. A little taller than most portable toilet units its disadvantage is that it won't fit inside shipping containers on building sites.

Toilet of the week - Portaloo Solo ®

Portaloo Solo ® Portable Toilet
For all you toilet geeks out there I'm going to be giving details and pictures of all the different makes and models of toilet we hire out. First the Portaloo Solo ® portable toilet. As far as I'm aware no longer in production. It's a tidy unit but never really hit the big time; faced with much cheaper units from the USA and Germany. 100 loo points if you spot one out there!
